About us
Our history
We set up Sitting in a Tree in 2007 as a matchmaking service for friends of friends. The company is now strong as an oak but we noticed that there was an area of dating which we felt could do with a bit of our help. Having heard the laments of many an ex-online dater, we decided to try and elevate the internet experience to a new, friendlier, more enjoyable level.

We’re a decent bunch, us tree-huggers. Without being holy rollers, we’re “do unto others” types. We are in this to help make people happy and to try to make dating fun, hassle free and dreamy. Not only that, but we are doing our best to ensure that our Tree is a positive part of our planet.
